To Read or Not to Read That is The Question.

I felt like I needed a catchy blog title.

Long Story Short

Read whatever you want. You do not need anyone’s permission to read a book. You do not anyone permission to stop reading a book.

How Do I Choose My Next Read?

I generally go in without any knowledge on the book…why? Because I can. But if you NEED an answer I do not want outside influences- influencing my reading adventure. Some may know I am a Net Galley Reviewer, if I do not have a book lined up both inside and outside Net Galley. The cover general pulls me to my next read. Thats how I choose the book below. My youngest, love escalators and stairs…my oldest wanted to go to the BIGGEST BARNES AND NOBLE WE KNOW…and my son wanted to ride the escalator and take stairs. Did I look at books nope…but this bright pink cover caught my eye from the second floor and the third trip around… I found it.

Look at it!

This book cover is beautiful, and I wish I could find my original photo of the book layout. Penguin Book Australia cover image.

Do I Read the Book Reviews?

Sometimes.

Do I Leave Reviews?

Short answer yes, each street team or cheer team I have been on have different requests. If I don’t like it I may have to wait…so the book has an opportunity to reach an audience.

Do I Get Paid?

Nope. Maybe one day. But as I write this…that day is not today.

How Do I Rate Books?

A book gets 5 stars from me if I want to avoid life responsibilities and I enjoyed it.

A book gets 4 stars from me if I rather be reading, but I can put it down, and I enjoyed it.

A book gets 3 stars from me if I enjoyed it…but squirrels. Meaning something shiny…easily distracted.

A book gets 2 stars from me if um/eh… not the book for me.

A book will get 1 star from me if I rather have done something else with my time.

My book review ratings…according to me.
